In Sister Girl and the Training Wheel, Sister Girl learns how to ride a bike. I wrote the book to celebrate father and daughter relationships. Focusing on the relationship shows how as people we need each other. Portraying a positive relationship, the child learning a new lesson and receiving guidance enables the reader to engage and enjoy the relationship. Those are the attributes that we need to showcase in our communities.
The theme of Sister Girl and the Training Wheels is to encourage children to not give up. There are great mothers and fathers in our communities and we need to celebrate their essence. We must instill in our youth to strive for excellence, have grit in the face of adversity and continue to persevere.
These lessons can be taught at any young age. Thank you, for taking the time to engage with the Sister Girl Collection.
